A kitchen collection created by the Italian designer Roberto Pezzetta; Argento Vivo was awarded by The Chicago Athenaeum of Architecture and Design with the Good Design Award in 2009, and by the magazine Robb Report with the Best of the Best in 2011.
Argento Vivo is described with contrasting linearity and softness, features that combine and blend together with grand impact.
The collection utilizes the extraordinary properties of the tempered glass: doors in frosted or polished finish are available in 7 colors thanks to a unique high-temperature back-lacquering process; the frame, where the 4 mm (1/4 inch) glass panels are installed, are made of extruded aluminium available in several finishes (black anodized, black powder-coated or gloss white lacquer). it opens via the electrified ServoDrive system activated by a light press (aka PushPull).
The collection also includes a special kitchen island with a 36cm (14 1/4 inch) curved base cabinet that encloses one or both sides of the kitchen; as an alternative a curved glass countertops is available as end-side. The result is a unique kitchen element realized with the extraordinary material called Glass.
A unique characteristic of the Argento Vivo model is the tempered glass worktop available for the island: extending as a semicircular cantilever it becomes a convenient snack-bar for five people.
The snack top features a built-in bottle bucket with drain and semispherical lid which can also serve as a handy tray.
The led perimeter lighting system gives an emotional effect.
