Description

The minimalistic stool Kuma by GHYCZY combines functionality with craftsmanship. A filigree metal frame gives the stool a minimalistic look. The stool is made of a very strong frame, making it suitable for hospitality. The round cushion resting on the rigid frame is hand made in traditional craftsmanship and buttoned down with a hand casted brass button. Felix inspired by antique chesterfield upholstery, likes to emphasise the handmade proces and the beauty of its character. The cushion has two sizes, one to be used as a stool and the bigger stool as an ottoman or pouffe. The stool is also available as a bar stool (S15B) in various materials and finishes and can be tailor-made to the needs of the customer. The stool Kuma is designed to last by Peter Ghyczy and produced in the atelier of GHYCZY with carefully selected materials.
