The Antica Sacile bar and cafeteria is located in the town of the same name in one of the most beautiful and evocative squares of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The place managers have wanted to replace the outdoor sun umbrellas for a long time as they wanted to have a more technological and effective structure that allows them to use the outdoor space all year long and consequently increase their business.
They chose Twist, the bioclimatic pergola by Gibus, equipped with Glisse glass doors and other useful accessories such as the LED lighting and an audio installation integrated discreetly in the covering blades.
The area of the intervention was quite challenging essentially for two reasons: the strong seismicity of the area and the very strict constraints relevant to the position, in the very historic center of the town that is subject to particular regulations for protecting the historical and artistic heritage.
It took several months of preparation, but then everything tranlated into a very fast construction site, thanks to the particular synergy between the various involved parties and especially the preliminary design phase that was carried out perfectly by the our CaSicura Atelier.
Being a seismic territory, it was necessary to create a special steel base that would act as a ballast, built to measure, to which the pergola could be firmly anchored. The base is hidden by a platform which also has the function of bringing the pergolas to a height, aligning them at the same height, to overcome the slopes of the square floor.
