Thanks to their strength and hardness, “Marmettone” terrazzo floor tiles are used to pave the inside of public buildings, such as schools, hospitals, shopping malls and any area where pedestrian traffic is particularly heavy. MARMETTONE - COMPOSITION ANALYSIS The top half (1.5 cm) of “Marmettone” 40x40x3 terrazzo tiles consists of an agglomerate of marble-chip, in a variety of carefully selected colours, mixed with ground marble and high-strength cement. The bottom half is a mixture of silica sands and PTL 425 cement at a ratio of 400 kg x 1 m3 sand.
