Description
Low tables produced by high-temperature casting. The top is created by melting a shaped slab of coloured glass (bronze, grey, blue or amber) onto an extralight glass sheet, producing an irregular surface that evokes glacier formation and modifies the perception of the material and its interaction with light. The glass acquires a denser, more tactile presence where the top appears to melt onto the supporting structure. The base is 12 mm cast bonded transparent glass, chosen for its visual lightness. On the side-table model the top is fixed to the base; on the other models the top simply rests on the base.
