PLANITHERM® ONE T delivers the most advanced thermal insulation performance within the PLANITHERM® family. With an optimum centre pane U-value of 1.0 W/m2.K*, it is a superior performance ‘‘single-stock’’ low-emissivity (low-E) glass that is widely used to improve the energy efficiency of glass windows and make building occupants more comfortable. High performance thermally insulating glazing enhances window energy efficiency by significantly reducing heat loss. This energy efficient glass has a transparent metallic coating that reflects heat from radiators or fires back into the room, rather than allowing it to escape through the windows. At the same time, it helps to prevent overheating by controlling solar gain. We spend a lot of our time indoors. Other thicknesses are available upon request including 8mm and 10mm. Substrate: PLANICLEAR clear float. TOUGHENED GLASS PLANITHERM® ONE T is a ‘‘single stock’’ coating and therefore can be used in either annealed or toughened form. It can be toughened to meet the safety requirements of BS EN 12150.
