We see the inspiration for this lamp for outdoor use in our contemporary modern barn with its austere expression in a Scandinavian tone. With its minimalist design, this floor lamp contributes a beautiful eye-catcher to your outdoor environment - on the terrace, balcony, orangery, outside the garage or stable, at the entrance, or on the pier - every garden room deserves to be illuminated by atmospheric lighting. The lamp is made in Poland of 1,5 mm thick corten steel, which is a weather-resistant and maintenance-free material with a long lifespan. It is delivered untreated in its original grey steel colour. When the lamp has been outside for a while, the oxidation process begins and a rusty surface slowly forms, which over time gives a beautiful reddish-brown colour. The weather conditions determine how long it takes for the steel to form the rusty surface, moisture is needed for the process to start. To speed up the process, the surface can be watered or sprayed with salt water. N.B! Keep in mind that while the material builds up its rusty surface, it can discolour sensitive and porous surfaces, so be careful where the lamp is placed during the first few years. When the surface has become sufficiently strong and dense, it no longer discolours. At the top, there is a plant box with drainage holes where plants can contribute to an atmospheric leafy impression. The light source is installed of the underside of the plant box, which provides a downward light that spreads towards the ground and creates a beautiful play of shadows thanks to the laser-cut lamellas in the corten steel.
