The Tesuki series is inspired by the Tesuki Washi technique, a type of Japanese papermaking that is very popular these days, and which has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
This series consists of four pieces in a pure matte white that is silky to the touch.
Two base tiles for this collection, Tesuki and Kozo, are 45x120 cm pieces inspired by Japanese handmade paper. Their refined textures are perfect for tiling entire walls.
The use of patterns of leaves or plants for decorating walls has grown massively over the last year. Gampi, is undoubtedly the most decorative base tile of this collection, responding to the great demand for this type of print.
This journey through the traditional handmade paper techniques ends with Flandes; this base tile helps bring together the different reliefs in a room without overloading it.
The soft tones along with the geometric shapes of the Obi decorative piece provide the perfect touch of colour to complement the series.
