Description

SHUTTLE SLIDING GATES WITH NO TRACK Gridiron's extensive experience in manufacturing sliding gates has resulted in designing and developing the Shuttle gate, running on internal rollers instead of a track on the ground. The basic structure consists of two sturdy UNP 140 beams. The running gear is more than enough to bear the weight of supporting the gate when in movement. The Shuttle gate is supplied solely prepared for the addition of a motor. STRUCTURE OF THE SHUTTLE SLIDING GATES WITH NO TRACK Gridiron's custom made gates always have a support structure of steel tube in various section sizes selected in proportion to the size of the gates. They are completed by various types of internal panelling: very open mesh grating, which can be chosen to correspond to the fencing installed around the perimeter, or very close mesh grating (132x11), or otherwise in punched or blind sheet metal in order to meet the safety requirements for automatic gates set forth by the new regulations. Our custom made gates are always given a hot-dip galvanising treatment that ensures quality and durability. THE SLIDING TRACK This is made of drawn steel and can be supplied in preparation for having the sliding gates motorised. It is attached to the lower tubes by stainless steel bolts M8x60 and 27 mm spacers in stainless steel. The teeth of the track, of 30x12 spacing, face downwards, making it suitable for most motors currently on the market. Shuttle sliding gate without track, complete with welded grating panel, mesh 132x11 mm, fully galvanised and painted.
