Description

Wall paneling and wooden ceilings are important elements in the acoustic conditioning of an auditorium. In addition to perforated acoustic panels, the geometry of a wooden paneling can greatly contribute to the acoustic of a space. Three-dimensional shapes like our design for the Ernst&Young Event Hall, slat ceilings like the one installed in the Agustín Betancourt Auditorium, or a careful shape and layout of the suspended ceiling panels such as those in the Assembly Hall of the Retamar School are acoustic strategies, which also shape beautiful spaces. Grupo GUBIA has being studying for more than a decade acoustic solutions for theaters, auditoriums, museums, assembly halls… Our technical department has collaborated with renowned acoustic engineers, architects and designers developmenting systems that allow achieving the best degree of acoustic absorption for these spaces.
