The TS Console creates a sophisticated and sculptural aesthetics for any room with its characteristic slender legs, beautifully crossing details and contrasting solid table top. The rectangular console serves equally well as a storage unit, serving station or media console, featuring either one or two table tops. The timeless TS Console by GamFratesi is extended from the classic TS Table, made for the renowned restaurant The Standard in Copenhagen, where not only its name got its inspiration but also aesthetics and material choices were found. AN EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH TO DESIGN GamFratesi’s design finds its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal, and in an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. They work intensely with the balance between harmony and disharmony, believing that somewhere in between one obtains reflection. GAMFRATESI Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi has been working with GUBI since the inception of their studio and, with their own dual heritage, share GUBI’s ability to synthesize seemingly opposing ideas – the classic and the contemporary, the intellectual and the eclectic, the understated and the expressive, the manufactured and the unique. In the case of the Sejour Lounge Chair, the contrasts between light and weighty, warm and cool, and soft and firm, provide nuanced internal dialogues that capture the imagination.
