An elegant indoor swimming pool nestled in the Cotswolds combines unique design with technology to fit the needs of the owner and tie in seamlessly in with its surroundings. Working with clients in the Cotswolds, Guncast designed and built a bespoke swimming pool within a beautifully light and bright home. With glazing along 3 of the 4 walls, and a skylight running along the length of the room, natural light fills the space and illuminates the swimming pool water. The addition of an underwater LED lighting system in place ensures this pool remains bright at any time of day. The pool measuring 13m x 4m with a variable depth of 1m 2m features a specialist counter current swim unit for swimming training, while the magnificent surroundings within the pool room ensure the clients have a place to relax after a long day. Unique design features of the indoor swimming pool also include 600mm x 600mm matt large format tiling, limestone copings with a pencil round edge, and benefits from an automatic cover with grey slats in keeping with the pool environs
