Description

The maintenance depot in Arlesheim has a hybrid design. The warehouse and workroom façades are made up of prefabricated curtain façade units. The façade cladding comprises horizontal diamond-shaped formwork of untreated larch in 3 different widths. The protruding lower layers are clad with eternit panels and OSB panels form the interior surface. The office section is insulated with 160 mm LAMBDA Vento Premium and also clad with larch formwork. The Slim 3 wood/metal windows are triple-glazed. The depot was planned and built in line with the latest Minergie regulations.
