The systems have a loading capacity from A 15 up to F 900 according to EN 1433. Extra thick sidewalls offer maximum lateral stability and additional security for areas subject to heavy loads. FASERFIX KS systems are available in a variety of nominal widths of 100-300 mm and are compatible with numerous gratings for total design flexibility. Channels made of fibre-reinforced concrete with sustainable basalt fibres 20 mm x 20 mm angle housing made of galvanised or stainless steel Selection of gratings including the award-winning FIBRETEC composite grating and ductile iron METROPOLIS design 90 % time saving due to SIDE-LOCK feature, boltless locking system (compared to conventional fixing) SIDE-LOCK fixing with central bolt & bar fixing for added safety, stability and security Fire resistance class A1 (not flammable) according to DIN 4102 Additional protection against longitudinal movements Corrosion-resistant galvanised or stainless steel angle housing SIDE-LOCK: time-saving revolutionary boltless locking system SIDE-LOCK is a unique and straightforward way of locking gratings into position without bolts or special tools. The grating is aligned and positioned correctly on the channel and locked into place with foot pressure. It is securely locked in place and won’t dislodge when exposed to heavy traffic conditions, longitudinal or transverse movements.
