Instead of decorative details, Marcel Wanders chose to focus on the material of Big Shadow, creating a fabric lamp designed to resemble the more classic style of a wooden base and fabric, or glass lamp shade. Big Shadow is produced by covering a thin metallic structure with a particularly high resistance fabric. The use of this particular fabric, besides bringing an innovative style to the product, creates a warm and pleasant light.
