Description
Table Louis XIV, re-issued after Caffieri, 1669
Round Table according to a model by Philippe Caffieri (1634-1716 ), displayed to the Musée du Louvre, Paris. Round Tables were rare in the XVIIth century. Carver of the King’s apartements, Caffieri realized this table foot in his workshop, at the Gobelins factory.
