Five-centimetre-wide felt strips are woven into a weave for this, creating a chessboard-like, very decorative effect. The basic material is pure wool felt. Due to the naturally contained wool grease lanolin, the felt carpets have a water-repellent property and are also dirt-repellent. Easy care with a hoover is perfectly sufficient. Wet spots from earthy shoes should first be dried off before vacuuming. And if a stain should ever appear on the carpet, a cloth or soft brush and a refatting cleaning agent is usually sufficient to remove it.
