Higuera Hardwoods solid carbonized prefinished strand woven six foot bamboo flooring planks have a rich carmel like coloring that brings out the beautiful tones of the bamboo strand woven grain. The carbonizing process is achieved by heating or cooking the bamboo strips. This process creates color that is present throughout the entire wear layer of the flooring board; there are no dyes or stains utilized to achieve this deep rich color.Each flooring plank has a tongue and groove on all four sides of the plank with a very small micro bevel edge on the top surface. Higuera hardwoods engineered strand woven bamboo planks are prefinished with seven coats of aluminum oxide ultra violet cured urethane for a scratch resistant finish.
