Description

The Armchair was designed by Robin Day for Hille and was launched in 1967 following the dramatic success of the Poly Side chair. Its rolled edges ensure that the fixings are kept out of sight from the front view and the generously wide seat with built in arms makes it incredibly comfortable. The Armchair as with the majority of Day’s Polypropylene shell designs featured the same fixing points enabling the shell to be fitted to the numerous bases he designed as well as beam and swivel chair options. The most popular version was on the original A frame base which can be supplied in a chrome or powdercoat finish. The Armchair can be purchased directly from Hille for £59.00 with a range of powdercoated frame finishes including chrome effect silver or £83.00 with a chrome frame finish.
