The Firestone RESISTA AK insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core laminated on both sides to a gastight multi-layered aluminium complex. It is suitable for use on adhered (no torch), ballasted and mechanically fastened single-ply roofing systems. RESISTA AK provides outstanding and stable thermal resistance, dimensional stability and compressive strength, which translates into a long lasting superior performance. Superior thermal resistance The board’s foam formulation, combined with a multilayer aluminium complex facer, results in outstanding thermal performance. Wind uplift performance Foam and facer have been designed for optimum adhesion in case of a fully adhered membrane application. Branded facer should always be facing upwards. High compressive strength ≥ 150 kPa Good reaction to fire Boards do not smolder, melt or drip and they do not promote fire propagation. Safe handling No sharp edges.
