The utilization of a "basque red" colored wooden guardrail is a deeply cherished tradition in the Basque region. However, the wood ages more or less well depending on its original treatment and upkeep. The HORIZAL design & engineering office designed an aluminum guardrail whose intermediate rails resemble traditional wood products. It is available in all RAL colors, as well as in "imitation wood" tones. It can be easily adapted to the colors and architecture of any region.
