iCoat Metal Illusion Epoxy Primer is a 100% acrylic primer. Easy application as a single component primer in black or white, can be rolled or painted on to the surface and dries fast. It is used to prepare the substrate prior to the application of an epoxy topcoat or Metal Illusion Epoxy. Excellent as a base color additive to epoxy topcoats to create a pure white or black surface. Surface Preparation: Clean substrate as per iCoat instruction manual. Application Instruction: Do NOT thin. Air and surface temperature must between 50°F and 90°F. Apply using a nap roller at a coverage rate of 150-175 sf per 1/2 gallon. Dries to the touch in approximately 2hrs. Dry time is longer in cool temperatures or in high humidity. Clean-Up: Hands and tools can be cleaned with warm soapy water.
