Uses
Fiber Fix W is a penetrating aqueous emulsion encapsulant for the consolidation of asbestos cement sheets. It is indicated for the inertization treatment of compact asbestos-cement products prior to removal and storage, and for post-removal interventions to bind residual fibres on remediated substrates. It belongs to Type D encapsulants and meets the minimum performance requirements set by the Ministerial Decree of 20/08/99. The product inhibits the release of asbestos fibres and contributes to the reduction of airborne fibres. The formulation is solvent-free and suitable for safe on-site application.
