Governor’s Visit is made from an original East India Company wallpaper painted in China circa 1770. Our version of this decor represents an enormous amount of work in restoration. Missing parts were re-done and damage was restored so the wallpaper has a freshness which makes it better than the original. After our digital treatment, it has become so convincing that experts have mistaken it for an original. Thanks to Iksel, you may now rivalise with the aristocrats of the 18th Cent. Without having to pay a fraction of the enormous prices.
It is sold by panels of 90 cm width and in 5 standard heights : 225cm, 255cm, 275cm, 300cm, 325cm
It is available in 2 standard color options: Original and Gouache as well as in custom size & color.
In standard height 325cm the full decor is 11,7 m long without repetition. As the majority of our decors, this decor loops. This means that last panel of each decor finishes where the first panel begins. As a consequence, you can start with any panel you want, and stop where you need. The design will continue as long as necessary
