Product overview
The GOAT is a flexible, solvent-free reactive polymer waterproof coating suitable for flat roofs, balconies, terraces, basements and large flat roof areas. Available in two grades: 18kg (roller) standard-viscosity grade for fast coverage of large flat areas and 7.5kg (brush / poured) thicker grade for upstands, parapets, verticals and detail work.

How it's applied
Brush, roller or poured (7.5kg grade). Clean equipment with The GOAT Cleaner; do not clean material with water.

What makes The GOAT unique
Can be applied to damp surfaces down to 0°C (unlike many standard paints that require ≥5°C). Handles positive and negative water pressure, can be left exposed, is UV resistant and solvent-free (VOC-free). Quick-drying, fast rain-resistant and free of isocyanates.

Which colour?

• White — solar reflective roof (keeps coated surfaces significantly cooler; cool-roof white: high solar reflectance)
• Black — classic roof finish for overlaying felt and asphalt
• Grey — architectural finish for balconies, terraces and visible details

Every colour uses the same certified membrane and assessed 25-year working life.

The GOAT is CE-marked and independently assessed under ETA-25/0471 (EAD 030350-00-0402).

• Watertight — no mass uptake at 150 kPa (EN 14891)
• Crack-bridging: 1.15–1.84 mm (vs 0.75 mm required)
• Elongation: ~344% at 1.35 MPa (EN 527-3)
• Cool-roof white: ~83% solar reflectance, SRI ~104, stable after 4,000 h UV
• Adhesion (EN ISO 4624): metal & CLT ≈ 1.17 N/mm², plywood ≈ 0.99 N/mm²; bonds to PVC & EPDM (~0.32 N/mm²) for roof refurbishment

Application notes
Apply with suitable brush or roller in one or two layers depending on detail. Use thicker 7.5kg grade for verticals, upstands and detail work to avoid slumping. Coverage guidance: approximately 2 kg per 1 m² (depending on substrate, detail and required thickness).
