Product overview
Poseidon is a liquid-applied, polymer-based waterproofing membrane paint formulated for bathrooms, wetrooms, showers and steam rooms. Supplied in 7kg, 10kg and 12kg containers, it is applied by airless spray, roller or brush and cures to a seamless, flexible vapour-resistant membrane ready for tiling or finishing.

Materials and composition
The system is a polymeric liquid membrane that cures to a continuous flexible film. Designed for water vapour resistance and long-term adhesion, it bonds to concrete, cementitious substrates and many tile surfaces. The cured film offers UV and chemical resistance while maintaining elasticity to accommodate normal building movement.

Dimensions and capacity
Available sizes: 7kg, 10kg and 12kg. Coverage depends on application thickness; a 10kg container typically covers approximately 15–20 m² at 1 mm wet film thickness. Recommended minimum applied thickness for effective waterproofing: 1 mm.

Application guidance & practical details

• Application methods: Airless spray, roller or brush.
• Drying/cure: Keep area free from water until fully cured; curing time varies with temperature and humidity.
• Tool cleaning: Clean tools with cold water immediately after use.
• Protection: Protect the membrane until tiling or finishing layers are applied.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation during application, especially in confined or humid spaces.
• Not suitable for: Bitumen/asphalt substrates, areas with continuous hydrostatic pressure, moving cracks or highly flexible joints without specific detailing, or incompatible existing coatings.

Included items and additional details
Each order contains the selected volume of Poseidon membrane in a ready-to-use container. Application tools are not included; select rollers, brushes or airless spray equipment according to the chosen method. Use as part of a complete wet-area waterproofing system with compatible primers and tile adhesives.

Care, maintenance & storage
Once cured, the membrane requires no special maintenance. Clean with water and mild detergent if necessary. Store sealed containers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures prior to use.
