Overview
The INZA slot drains (INZA SR) are stainless steel drainage solutions engineered for efficient collection and evacuation of rainwater and process or wastewater in industrial, commercial and urban environments. Manufactured in stainless steel (AISI 304 / 316L), the modular system combines a 20 mm slot opening with an enlarged omega-shaped interior and a V-shaped base to promote self-cleaning and hydraulic performance.

What is a slot drain?
A slot drain is a linear drainage channel with a narrow 20 mm slot and an internal omega profile that forms a V-shaped bed. Designed for long continuous runs, it captures surface water along its length, reduces standing water, and accelerates flow towards outlet points thanks to an internal slope and V-shaped bottom.

Difference between slot drains and grated channels
Slot drains offer a discreet continuous slit without movable parts, ideal for surfaces cleaned with water jets or pressure. Grated channels provide larger capture area and are usually removable for access and cleaning when viscous deposits must be removed. Both systems can be configured to support heavy traffic depending on chosen reinforcements and grating.
