isolera special primer is a solvent-free primer or adhesive primer under tiles for wall and floor areas, enriched with special adhesion-improving additives. Achieves an outstandingly high bond adhesion on smooth and non-absorbent substrates. A very good bond is achieved for reliable sealing and coating with thin-bed mortars. Detachment of the covering is reliably prevented. The substrate on which the tiles are to be applied must be clean and dry, and it must also not have any cracks. Unevenness and cracks should be levelled out with filler beforehand. The primer improves the adhesion. As a special primer and adhesion promoter on non-absorbent and absorbent wall and floor surfaces indoors and outdoors, before coating with mineral and plastic-modified products under ceramic coverings. Suitable substrates are hydraulically hardening cement, lime and gypsum plasters, gypsum planks, gypsum fibre boards, brickwork, aerated concrete, sand-lime bricks, cement, anhydrite, magnesia and cast asphalt screeds, wooden floorboards, self-levelling floor compounds, natural stone, glazed tiles, steel and glass. Adhesives containing solvents must not be applied.
