Please call to discuss. Understanding Gate Terminology A gate will either open on the right or left hand side and therefore be hung on the alternative side. To determine swing direction, view the gate as if you were standing on the outside of your property facing your house. If you want the gate to open from the left-hand side, the gate will be hung on the opposite side and therefore be right hand hanging. Gate locks: our gates are supplied as standard with a ring latch, but other gate locks may be required.
