Chandrakala is a 33-year-old weaver from Kekri village in Rajasthan with 10 years of experience in rug weaving. She has three lovely daughters, one of whom is just 15 months old, while the other two are 5 and 10 years old, respectively. Chandrakala is curious and thrilled like a child on her first Manchaha rug experience. She is very lively when interacting with her colleagues. She enjoys making Manchaha because it allows her to weave what her heart desires without fear of judgment. She calls this Manchaha "Satrangi" because the colors are blocked together yet seem to be spread out. According to her, this Manchaha fulfills the definition of runner carpets because she loves all colors and enjoys walking on them.
