Description

Product properties Excellent adhesion on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Double acting corrosion protection through inclusion of special anticorrosive pigments and fillers. Scale-shaped fillers prevent fast diffusion and active pigments slow down the start of corrosion on metal surfaces. The thixotropy provides very high dry film thickness on vertical surfaces and on edges. This protective property creates a surface with more or less structure when used on larger surfaces, depending on the application process and conditions. As Metallon DS is equipped with block-resistant binders, windows and doors made of iron, wood and non-ferrous metals may also be coated. Binder base Acrylate polymer dispersion Degree of gloss Silk-gloss Drying (23 °C 60 % rel. air humidity) Dust-dry: after ca. 30 minutes; Touch-dry: after ca. 2 - 3 hours; Re-coatable: after 8 – 10 hours. Final hardness is achieved after about 3 days! Spreading rate 6 - 8 m²/ltr Type of application Brush: Use brush with mixed bristles. Roller: Use roller with short-pile mohair roller.
