Range of uses For the protection of steel, cast iron, concrete, brickwork and wood against chemical and atmospheric influences. Jansen Bituminous Paint is resistant against water, humic acid, diluted mineral acids and lyes, but not however against solvents, oils and greases. Product properties Particularly mild-smelling bituminous paint, which dries black-gloss. The dry film emits no odorous substances, flavours or dyestuffs. Binder base Special bitumen, aliphatic hydrocarbons Degree of gloss Gloss Drying (23°C 60 % rel. air humidity) The waiting times between the individual layers at 20°C should amount to approx. 5 hours. A complete through-drying requires several times the specified time depending on weather conditions, temperature and air humidity. Spreading rate Depending on temperature and substrate structure per layer: Concrete: 0,5 m²/ltr dry film thickness 50 µ Steel: 10 m²/ltr dry film thickness 50µ.
