For example, in France, JCDecaux has successfully rolled out 2,500 new electrically assisted Vélo’v bikes in the 428 stations of the Greater Lyon area (Lyon Métropole) during the night of 28 to 29 January 2025. In close cooperation with the city’s teams, the company rose to the huge industrial and logistical challenges of collecting the previous generation of Vélo’v electric bikes and simultaneously replacing them with the new generation without any interruption of service and in one single night.
