Product description: Atlas is a woven rug developed in close collaboration with Barber Osgerby. The design lets the loom’s inherent logic guide form and surface. Constructed with a double-weft technique, the rug offers a substantial hand and a surface defined by depth and tonal variation. In Atlas, warp threads remain visible within the weave, adding texture and a subtle play of light. The interplay between warp and weft creates a layered character with colour integrated deep into the structure. Grounded and textural, Atlas suits architectural interiors that prioritise material integrity and presence.

Backing Information: Backing is an optional manufacturing treatment applied to the underside of woven rugs. The underside is coated with an acrylate adhesive to stabilise the rug and extend its life. Backing is recommended for woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m².

Care Advice: Regular vacuuming is the most effective everyday care. Removing dirt and stains prevents fibre wear and keeps colours looking fresh. Light, solid-colour rugs generally require more frequent attention than darker, patterned designs. Appropriate maintenance routines help retain shape, quality and appearance for many years. All Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibres; slight variations in colour, texture and dimensions may occur between yarn batches.
