Description

The KSBC150 is a versatile channel with a built in fall as standard. Widths are measured by using the Grating width, and the actual Channel Width adds 20mm to either side of the grating for a turnout/turndown edge profile. Eg a KSBC150 channel takes a 150mm wide grating and physically measures 190mm outside edge to outside edge. Channel has a start depth of 50mm with 1:150 fall built in gives an end depth of 116mm on a 10m run with spigot at the end or 83mm with spigot in centre.

Changing Rooms, Gyms and Kitchens with low flow areas typically use a 110mm spigot outlet, trapped with a KFT110 bottle trap. For Food, Beverage, Dairy, Meat Processing, Pharmaceutical and Chemical plants, and Kitchens where a bain-marie will be discharged, a higher flow rate will be required and a KV215/110 or KV315/160 gully welded to a central point or to an end will be required.

The Turnout/Turndown edge profile accepts concrete infill, and for particularly heavy load areas (>10T forklifts) this edge profile readily accepts a box section infill or a solid bar infill.
Channel as standard is supplied with fully welded flanges and gaskets and fully welded ends. Corners and T sections are supplied fully welded.

Gullies are supplied fully welded Contractor only connects straight lengths to straight lengths using flanges and gaskets. Where site welding is preferred, contractor again only connects straight length to straight length, but flanges are stepped back slightly to allow flush joining to help site welding of lengths.
