A central heating network is not always available for the connection of a radiator or cannot be used for it. In that case, electric radiators are often the better choice, e.g. in seldom used rooms, in leisure residences, or when refurbishing. In contrast to straight hot water heating, the use of an electric heater is cost-effective between the seasons too when the central heating does not need to be started up. And: Self-generated electricity from solar panel systems makes its use even more cost-efficient.
