For temperature control of outside air. Preheating in the winter / cooling in the summer. Unlike the air, the ground has relatively constant temperatures. That way, the brine/air geothermal heat exchanger can preheat the outside air at low outside temperatures in the winter and keeps it frost-free. As a result, optimum operation for the ventilation unit can be assured even at temperatures below the freezing point. In the summer, the ground temperatures are considerably cooler than the outside air. As a consequence, the outside air can be adequately tempered via the brine/air geothermal heat exchanger. Apart from that, the brine/air geothermal heat exchanger is an energy saving alternative to electric preheating coils thanks to the use of regenerative energies.
Use of the constant ground temperature for preheating (winter) / cooling (summer)
Alternative solution to the electric/water-based preheating coil
For air quantities up to 250 m³/h
Can be controlled via control elements of the x-well S and F170 ventilation units
Already included in the scope of delivery: circulation pump, diaphragm expansion tank, and safety assembly
