Description

The signature curves of Kin & Company and waves of Norwegian designer Henrik Ødegaard blend together seamlessly in this collaboration from the two studios, created for the Sight Unseen project Norway x New York. The delicately undulating form of the Step Stair, floating just off the ground, creates an ambiguous object to accommodate lounging, seating or display. The steel plate, finished in a dark blue powder coat with a silver sparkle top-coat recalls the midnight sky. The curved bronze handrail, shown in a verdigris patina, encourages the user to walk alongside the object or drape their favorite fabric for display. The hollow blackened steel pipe provides a minimal anchor, punching through the plate to create a void. Made to order in a variety of sizes, materials, and finishes. Shown in steel with a black oxide patina Steel semi-gloss glitter powder-coat pipe Bronze patina tube 33”w x 24”d x 46”h
