Brushstrokes is a beautiful painterly rug, hand-knotted in Nepal. Using 32 colours, our Artisan weavers incorporate an array of threads to capture the nuances of each individual brushstroke. Creating subtle tonal variations throughout the piece, Brushstrokes successfully translates these marks as if the threads woven within the rug were paints meeting upon the surface of a canvas. The blending of the highest quality silk and Tibetan wool provides an added level of dimension to the rug, by replicating the highly textured layering of paint found within the original artwork.
