Float is a sculptural coffee table that challenges senses and perception. A massive metal cone apparently floats above a mirror polished steel base. The geometrical design is softened by refined details such as the bezelled lip on the edges of the perfect circle of the cone. The Float coffee table is appreciated by many interior designers. It can be found in different projects all around the world, such as the Shanghai airport lounge and the Lyon Country House . The production of Float is a technical challenge and each table is made artisanally to the specification of our clients. The upper cone made of spun metal is made in a workshop where clock tower dials have been turned for a century with a technic that has hardly evolved. The paint job is then similar to the process used for collector car bodies to get this perfect deep and shinly laquered finish unique to classic cars. In additon to the 3 classics and 4 new colors, the Float table can be produced with a bespoke color for a very unique sculptural table.
