The Mirage series explores the role furniture plays in exhibiting the objects we display and covet. Through mirrors and tinted glass a series of optical illusions multiply, modify, and elevate the objects that are placed on, in, and near each Mirage piece. The Mirage Table's lower level are designed to function as curios for small objects and trinkets . The inner two-way mirror dividers create a kaleidoscope effect that multiplies the objects in unexpected ways. The dividers' semi-transparency creates an effect that varies with the room's lighting conditions. Tables are built with interlocking glass panes supported by a hardwood support structure in whited or blackened hard maple. Dimensions: Console table: 23" x 11.5" x 34"h
