Elegant ceramic vases have a simplicity that invariably makes a statement of good taste. The form of the Issey vase is characterized by a fluting pattern that is reminiscent of silk pleating. The pale stoneware is high-fired and therefore watertight. Despite this, it is advisable to always use a coaster on sensitive tabletops. Cold water can cause the bottom of ceramic vessels to “sweat” and this water seepage could leave rings on the table. The vase can be washed with warm water and dishwashing liquid.
