Technologies & feature descriptions

• Dry Microfine Steam (DMS) — Laurastar DMS delivers efficient results in less time by gently plumping fibres and providing a hygienic effect that reaches the heart of textiles. It kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses and 100% of dust mites during ironing; steam that does not leave garments wet and performs faster than standard steam generators (tests by independent ISO 17025 laboratories).
• Active board — Integrated fan and vacuum system: the fan creates an air cushion to hold fabric in place and prevent creases; the vacuum flattens garments to facilitate crease removal.
• Active 3D soleplate — The soleplate surface keeps fabric steady while steam is distributed across the whole surface for effective ironing in a single movement.
• Sensteam — Motion-sensing steam activation that delivers steam automatically according to the movements of the iron; no buttons required.
• Pulse Steam — Steam delivered in controlled bursts to ensure the ideal quantity of steam for each fabric and colour.
• Connectivity — Bluetooth connection to the mobile app: coaching, video tutorials (installation, basic ironing techniques, silk/cotton/wool guidance), maintenance alerts and user guide.
• Single temperature — The device reaches the optimal temperature for all fabrics automatically; no manual temperature selection necessary.
