Designed and manufactured according to the new World Athletics (IAAF) Standards, which have
been updated in 2020.The barrier beam is 3.96m long and is made from 127x127mm square pine wood section, which is composed of several glued pieces to guarantee its straightness with the passage of time and bad weather. The upper edges are rounded.
Three square metal posts, which are perforated to adjust the barrier beam to the 3 regulatory
heights (914mm, 838mm (WA 2020) y 762mm), are fastened to the base of the crossbar using
screws. In turn, these posts fit into the base support structure, being fastened by means of an
automatic positioning pin and fixing screw with a Bakelite knob that eliminates the gaps
between them.The barrier beam is painted in white and black. The metal structure is painted in black.
