Worktops that are flush with the carcase and elegantly finished emphasise the modernity of a kitchen. In the hob area, this can mean that there is no space for a usable drawer under the hob as the installation depth is reduced by the worktop thickness. LEICHT, however, offers a usable drawer and thus additional storage space. Regardless of whether the material is glass, granite or something else: a reduction of material thickness necessarily means a reduction of stability. If so desired, LEICHT can incorporate metal reinforcements in the carcase from a carcase width of 60 cm to absorb the loading pressure, particularly on the front edge, and thus prevent the danger of the worktop breaking.
