The Hydro Kit may be used in conjunction with single-phase Multi V S or three-phase Multi V 5 outdoor units and Multi V Water 5. The Hydro Kit system uses a refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger to produce heated water. The LG Hydro Kit is a winner of the 2020 AHR EXPO Innovation Awards in the plumbing category. Designed to be used with LG’s Multi V 5, Multi V Water 5 Heat Pump and Heat Recovery systems, and Multi V S (48kBtu/h ~ 96kBtu/h for ARNH423K3A4 and 96kBtu/h for ARNH763K3A4), the LG High-Temperature Hydro Kit is an indoor refrigerant to water heat exchanger, capable of using the rejected heat to provide hot water for applications where hot water is needed, including domestic hot water heating, radiant floor heating, historic radiators and more.

Field provided thermostat must be a 208V, 24V or mechanical type. Must be field adjustable heating only or cooling/heating with a manual changeover. Cooling and heating setpoint, deadband, and manual restart functions provided by Hydro Kit Controller are not available with use of a 3rd party thermostat. Cannot be used in conjunction with remote temperature sensor (K2 chassis). Field provided thermostat must be a line voltage (208V) heating only thermostat.
