Astair benefits from all the expertise of Ligne Roset: a pocket-sprung suspension, the considered use of the very best high resilience foams on the market, and a studied padding which guarantees both comfort and longevity. The working of the tubular steel structure and base is of the highest quality: the base is bent into shape with no visible solder joints or screws. The armchair and its footstool may be complemented with pedestal/low tables with matching bases. CONSTRUCTION Structure in panels of particleboard, panels of multi-ply and tubular steel. Base in bordeaux or black-lacquered tubular steel. COMFORT Integral seat cushion with pocket-sprung suspension, high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 36kg/m3 – 3.2 kPa clad in Bultex foam and 110g/m2 polyester quilting. Back cushion and headrest made from high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 38kg/m3 – 3.6 kPa clad in Bultex foam and 110g/m2 polyester quilting. Armrest in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam 38kg/m3 – 3.6 kPa clad in 110g/m2 polyester quilting. MAKING-UP 5 mm baguette stitching on seat of armchair and footstool. Twin-needle stitching on armrests, back cushion and headrest. Both fabric and leather versions have removable covers.
