DESIGN INSPIRATION CHALK / MOSS / GRAVEL 2019 MIRJAM BOON There is only one thing better than walking barefoot on a sandy beach: walking barefoot on a woollen carpet. And it is precisely the juxtaposition between gritty materials like chalk and gravel and the sensual softness of natural wool, that inspired Mirjam Boon to design her ‘Chalk’ and ‘Gravel’ carpets, with their abstract, ‘stony’ motifs. Just as interesting is the visual softness of moss, translated into wool: the perfect inspiration for ‘Moss’. SPECIFICATIONS Material: 100% New Zealand wool Production method: Machine tufted OPTIONS Pile: 20 or 34mm Special feathers: Each Chalk, Moss or Gravel rug is custom-made. The rectangular rugs (Chalk and Moss) can be ordered in any size up to 400x600cm (the ratio will always be 2:3). The circular rug (Gravel) can be ordered in any circle size up to Ø 400cm. MAINTENANCE Regular vacuuming will increase the life span of a (woollen) carpet and greatly contribute to its appearance. Blot spills immediately with (white) paper towels, until dry, and avoid rubbing. If a stain remains, we advise contacting a professional carpet cleaning company. WARRANTY All LINTELOO sofas and chairs are backed by a 10-year warranty on the frame. Cushions, upholstery and all other LINTELOO products are backed by a 3-year warranty, with a depreciation of 1/3 each year. Please make sure you keep your invoice or receipt. Excluded from the warranty are: Regular wear and tear, damages and discolouration of upholstery (fabric and/or leather). Creasing, colour and structure variations and other irregularities, which are part of the natural characteristics of fabrics, leather and/ or wood.
