Islands is a family of free standing storage units accessible on various sides thanks to the perimeter of wooden slats mounted with apparent randomness that, thanks to the central pivot, turning on themselves, now creating a compact presence, now an airy element, for different interpretations of the same product, always conveying a taste of refined craftsmanship. Open container accessible around the entire perimeter thanks to a series of pivoting slats. Top and bottom in 19 mm thick, contoured and with bevelled MDF, with the bottom part always lacquered with epoxy powder coating matt black, and top available veneered charcoal dyed oak or Stone Oak®, with bevelled edge always lacquered with epoxy powder coating matt black, or all matt black lacquered. Top available also in red Levanto, Sahara Noir or Forest Green marble (thickness 15 mm), fixed to the MDF top through screws, with a satin finish and an opaque transparent protective varnish or a matt or glossy polyester finish. Slats, with elliptical 70 x16 mm cross-section, in aluminium extrusion, fixed to the top and to the bottom by means of turned details in black nylon and tie rods. Slats available painted matt black, in charcoal dyed oak or Stone Oak®. Bridge legs, with elliptical cross-section feet, made in aluminum extrusion and steel sheet screwed together and always with matt black finish. Floor support secured by black contoured feet.
