DRY HEATING SYSTEM The LOEX home Plain system was specifically designed for use in refurbishing projects and uses thin expanded polystyrene panels. These panels feature a heat conducting panel of aluminium which also facilitates fastening the hose to them. The 14x2 mm hose is made from high density cross linked polythene (PE-Xa) with an oxygen barrier. HOW IT WORKS The LOEX home Plain system was created for those situations where it is not usually possible to install a heating system due to lack of space. LOEX home Plain panels are only 25 mm thick and are made from expanded polystyrene with excellent insulating properties. All the surfaces of these panels have slots for housing LOEX 142 PE-Xa 14x2 mm hose which takes on a special geometry towards the edges to allow 180° bends in hoses and the passage of connecting hoses that lie perpendicularly to the coils making up the circuit. The LOEX home Plain 0.45 mm aluminium heat conducting panels are Omega shaped to fit into the slots and to cover and keep the hose in the best possible position to spread heat towards the surface. The 0.18 mm PE sheet that covers the system mates with the LOEX LS80 edging strip and forms an ideal support base for LOEX HD and LOEX KLIMA dry screed or any other wet or self-levelling screed including the 30 mm version that can be obtained thanks to the special additive, LOEX KB.
